- 2nd Deadline: 23/04/2020 - (5pm Brussels) - Festivals founded between 1 November 2020 and 30 April 2021

The MEDIA – Film Festivals line of funding is intended to support entities involved in organising film festivals in accordance with the following criteria:
- A minimum of 70% of programming presented to the public during the festival or at least 100 films (or 400 short films) should be sourced from countries participating in the MEDIA sub-programme. The MEDIA countries programme rules are as follows:
- 50% of the films must be from abroad;
- At least 15 countries should be represented.
