How to apply

Before you start the process of applying for the Creative Europe CULTURE sub-programme, we consider it very important that you get in touch with the Creative Europe Information Centre in Portugal in order to be able to establish which line of funding is most appropriate for the type of project and what application process is required.

The application process has the three following stages:

1. Register at the Education, Audiovisual, Culture, Citizenship and Volunteering Participant Portal. A Participation Identification Code (PIC) will be provided after registration. All partner organisations wishing to apply must register before submitting any applications.
   
   

2. With the PIC, proceed to the online application form (at the Commission’s website) and submit it with the required attachments (please see the respective guidelines). The application form should be submitted strictly in accordance with the deadline. Late applications after the deadline will not be accepted.

   Should you have any technical issues when completing or submitting your application, please write immediately to eacea-helpdesk@ec.europa.eu (late applications will only be considered with a proof of email message reporting any technical issues regarding the submission).
   
   

3. Post mail submissions should include digital formats if possible (with the additional documentation attached. Please see the respective guidelines).
