Find a Partner

The aim of the Creative Europe Sub-programme is to fund transnational cultural projects and partnerships, ie projects of cross-border co-operation between cultural and creative organisations within the European Union (member states, candidate countries, EFTA countries (Iceland and Norway) and countries covered by the European Neighbourhood Policy). Although non-EU countries may participate in the projects, their costs are not eligible and they don't count towards the minimum number of required partners.
Along with the formalisation of the partnership, the minimum number of required partners varies depending on the line of funding: "projects of European Co-operation", "European Networks", and "European Platforms",but the entities will always have to operate as a partnership. Only the line of funding for "Literary Translation Projects", does not require the submission of any partnership applications (although that possibility is not excluded).
Some ideas for finding a partner:
- Participation in international networking events, festivals and conferences on European themes. (Our website periodically publicises such events);
- Associations with European networks. (We have identified some networks that we think are useful although suggestions are always welcome);
- Search for previously-supported projects on the European Commission database (noting the partnerships involved)
- Consult the databases of the Creative Europe Desks in Italy and the Itália. These databases can promote your project or help you find entities interested in participating in a variety of different projects. If you are interested in contacting a partner in Slovenia, please see the Creative Europe Desk database in Creative Europe Desk Eslovénia;
- You can share information about searching for partners with all the Creative Europe Desks by filling in the appropriate form, which will then be resent by the Desks to all the contacts on their respective mailing list. If you are interested, please contact us by e-mail to the following address: sara.machado@europacriativa.eu
- Visit the Creative Europe no LinkedIn page, where organisations exchange ideas and advertise for partners.
