Objectives:
- To support independent audiovisual production companies with a view to facilitating European and international television co-productions.
Eligibility:
- Independent European audiovisual production companies that own the majority of the rights related to the work.
- Works:
- Fiction (one-off or series) - 90 minutes
- Animation (one-off or series) - 24 minutes
- Creative documentaries (one-off or series) - 50 minutes.
- Applications should be submitted at least until the first day of shooting;
- The audiovisual work must involve at least three television companies from three different territories (within the Sub-programme MEDIA participating countries)
- Co-financing:
- Fiction and animation: Up to € 500,000.00 and up to 12.5% of total eligible costs;
- Creative documentary: Up to € 300,000.00 and up to 20% of total eligible costs;
- Fiction series (first or second seasons) co-produced by at least two companies, from two MEDIA participating countries, with a minimum eligible production budget of € 10,000,000.00 (of a minimum six episodes): € 1,000,000.00
